My stay at Halekulani was lovely. I enjoyed the stunning ocean views from my Junior Ocean suite and appreciated the vast, well-kept hotel grounds. Though the front desk service left much to be desired, the really good attention from staff in restaurants and the pool area made up for it. The dining options were good, but I did find some meals to be quite pricey. Overall, if you can overlook a few service hiccups, the experience is truly amazing.

My Junior Ocean suite was beyond expectations. it offered amazing views of Diamond Head and the ocean. The spacious layout and luxurious amenities made my stay incredibly comfortable, although I did notice some minor inconsistencies.
Service
6.0
I'm torn about the service. while many staff members were excellent, especially in dining and by the pool, my initial welcome at the front desk felt cold and uninviting. It was disappointing, especially as I had previously appreciated the warmth on earlier visits.
Location

The location is perfect. right in the heart of Waikiki, close to shops and restaurants, yet the hotel maintains a serene atmosphere. I spent countless hours enjoying the sun by the beach, which is just steps away.
Dining

Dining at Halekulani was a highlight. Orchids and House Without a Key both offered exquisite food. However, I did find myself hesitating due to the high prices, especially for breakfast. Still, the quality was generally really good.
Facilities

The facilities were well-maintained. I thoroughly enjoyed the stunning pool area, which had attentive staff serving refreshments. The spa was a peaceful haven, although a hot tub would have been a nice addition.

My stay at Halekulani was filled with very nice ocean views and attentive service, though I found the room itself to be a bit small and in need of an update. The hotel’s serene atmosphere offered a perfect escape from the busy Waikiki streets, but the room's size left something to be desired. Overall, the warm staff and fantastic amenities made for a nice experience.

We stayed in an Ocean Front room on the 7th floor. The view was unbeatable, and the bed was comfortable. but the room was a bit small compared to similar hotels, and the decor felt somewhat dated.

I had a lovely stay at Halekulani, enjoying the serene atmosphere and beautiful views. The location is perfect, right on Waikiki beach, making it super convenient for exploring. However, I found the check-in experience a bit lacking in warmth, as there was no traditional Hawaiian lei greeting. Overall, the charm and really good service were highlights, though the room decor felt a bit dated.

The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, but I noticed they were somewhat dated. Despite this, I found it very comfortable with a relaxing decor, although the mattress was a bit hard.

My stay at Halekulani was filled with mixed feelings. The staff offered stellar service, always attentive and friendly, making for a welcoming atmosphere. However, the rooms felt a bit worn, and the pool area was underwhelming. I didn't expect to feel that way at a plus $500 a night hotel. Still, the location is fantastic, right in the heart of Waikiki, which made exploring the area easy.

Rooms

The rooms were decent-sized but showed signs of aging. Small bathrooms didn't meet my expectations for a luxury hotel. While they were beautiful, I felt they need a refresh to elevate the experience.
Service

The staff truly made my experience special. They were the highlight of my stay, always eager to cater to my needs and offering really good service throughout.
Location

Halekulani's location is unbeatable, right in bustling Waikiki. Easy access to shopping, dining, and the beach made my stay enjoyable.
Dining

I enjoyed some meals at the hotel, particularly at Orchids. The food was excellent but quite pricey; I felt I could find similar quality for less elsewhere.
Facilities

While the grounds were well-kept, the pool could use a bar. I also missed having a hot tub. Overall, some facilities need improvement to match the hotel’s reputation.

During my stay at Halekulani, I found the service to be really good and the ocean views truly stunning. The pool area was a relaxing escape, complemented by attentive staff and complimentary snacks. However, I was disappointed with the quality of room amenities and found the facilities a bit dated for a hotel of this caliber. Overall, it was a nice experience, but there's definitely room for improvement in the rooms.
